D.C. Claims One of It’s Own

“By ousting a good man like Speaker Boehner — someone who understood the art of compromise — the party of Eisenhower and Reagan is no more.” — Sen. Harry Reid.

I agree. The Republican Party as we have known it this century is dead. The new “republican” party that claims the title is a party of radical, religious fundamentalists, who interpret the Constitution the same way they interpret the Bible–in whatever way meets their needs of the day. They are the kind of party they claim to fight against. No better, no worse.  On the edge of being ousted for trying to meet the other side in the middle, John Boehner was ripped apart by his own.

Today, I had intended to research the positions of the various presidential candidates on space exploration and NASA funding.  I’ll get on that over the weekend.  Today, I’ll sit and watch the circus open another ring in D.C.
